I dug out my old stock 16" rims that came off my '97 Grand prix. I put one on the Z to make sure it fits and it does. Can anyone recommend the best snow tire that I should put on it?

 

I ran Bizzak WS-50's on my Audi. Great in snow and ice, terrible on dry pavement. The sidewalls are extremely soft as is the rubber. The tires actually felt too soft on wet roads. I've heard that Pirelli's snow tires work pretty well on dry pavement but I don't have any experience with them.

As Stump said... Blizzak WS-50's (Q-rated) for snow and ice with a compromise on performance... If you're willing to give up a little snow/ice traction for dry road performance and can spend a few more bucks, Blizzak LM22's (H-rated)

 

thanks guys, i'll be looking into the Blizzaks. Going from a 17" rim to a 16" is there anything i should look for in tire sizing? Or just try to get the same dimensions minus the 1" diameter.

 

Which one do you think has better treadlife? LM-22s or WS-50s?
