Default Best drag radials?

I wanna hear everyones opinions on which tires to go for to get the best 1/4 mile times. What tire and what size would be best for a mildly modded Z? I have a base model 17's

ET Streets are basically a full blown slick with some grooves cut into it. They are probably the best drag radial to get, but I wouldnt' want to be driving on them very much...basically just back and forth to the drag strip. I have seen numerous tests on them where they compare them to full blown slicks and they have cut better 60 ft. times with the ET streets!!!!

If you want something that you can drive around on, the Nitto Drag Radials are probably your best bet. They will last about 5-10K miles on everyday driving but will help you A LOT with launching. I have launched a 98 cobra at 6K rpm by sidestepping the clutch with no wheel spin with the Nittos. I have also run a Grand National and cut a 1.6 60 ft with the ET streets, but up at 100 mph, the car starts to wander (since they are only pumped up to 15 psi).

What are you looking to do? Drive all the time on them or use them just for the drag strip?? I don't think that the ET streets come in 17" sizes....

I have used both the BFG g-Force and Nitto NT555Rs and I have to say the g-Force are much grippier and probably wouldn't last any time on the road. The Nittos are more of a street tire and can be driven for up to 10,000 miles on the street. The best choice really depends on how much more grip you need and if you plan on driving on them.
