Default Winter tire question.

Getting ready to purchase some winter shoes for my Track. Came by this deal from tirerack.com:

Winter Tire Deal

Would I have any problems running this size (225/45R-18)at all four corners?

Also how are these tires in general?

Thanks a lot.

those are great performance winter tires... they won't bite into snow/slush like aggressive winters (e.g. blizzak ws50) but they'll offer solid dry weather performance with competant winter performance

as for the tire size, you'll be fine... VDC will probably trigger prematurely, but that's good thing in the winter

good luck

Wouldn't this cause VDC to always trigger? I thought fronts and rears must be staggered for the VDC to sense that the rears are rotating slower. If not, VDC thinks there is slip and will constantly come on no matter what.

obviously not true for non-VDC Zs.

I have a VDC 350Z and I run 215/60/16 Blizzacks all round.

VDC works fine and the car is actually very drivable in the snow.
