will these tires fit w/o rubbing?
Ordered some new wheels and am trying to decide on the tires. The wheels are 18x9 +21 and 18x10 +23. Im just wondering if 265/35/18 and 295/35/18 tires will fit w/o rubbing anything? The stagger front to rear is within the .5-.75 range. Those tire sizes are within the allowed rim width range. Im just not sure if they will rub or not. Right now im on stock suspension, but I will probably lower the car on hotchkis springs which I believe give a .6/.7 drop. Thanks!
You may have to roll your rear fenders with the 295's and that offset.
I just saw a Z that had 295 on an 18" rim that was dropped a little more than an inch and he had no problem. He had 10.5" with a +30 offset, so his rim is tucked around 2mm compared to yours. Sometimes that little bit can make the difference... Just do your homework on tire brands and section widths and you'll be fine.
I too am keeping my fingers crossed. I get my wheels next week and my clearance is going to be minimal.
Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I went with those offsets to have the max lip on the wheels
The front will have a 2.7" lip and the rear will have a 4" lip! They are volk sf challenges by the way. I guess I could just go with 255/40 on the front and 275/40 on the rear and be safe, but I really want a 35 series tire and the lower sidewall.
