Default OEM tires.....

I dont think i have the best hearing and since i've had my exhaust on for quite a while, i'm not sure if i have noticed the noise from the tires. What is the fix for tire feathering? Will it go away with aftermarket tires? I searched for this but the threads were extremely long and i didn't know where to find exactly what i was looking for. Thanks

short answer is nothing you can do with the OEM parts can fix it. some have hinted to the fact that the feathering went away after installing an aftermarket suspension. one where you can controll and adjust camber and caster, something the oem suspension can not do.

going to aftermarket tires specifically ones that are a harder compound will delay the feathering for a little while cause the original OEM potenzas are not suited for daily driving, too soft.

you can get the alignment done to the new specs, .1 toe in, that will also delay the feather a little bit. but it will still be there.

over all dont let this bother you. i have feathering, but i believe this website really blows it out of proportion. get the alignment, get the harder tires and then manage your tires. every 3-5k miles pay for another alignment and also to have the fronts flipped from side to side. this will maximize your tire life.
