I am using black Volk Rays lug nuts and I would like to change it to red (closed end). Is Kyokugen ,GORILLA or Muteki lug nuts any good? I know Volk has red nuts too. But I really don’t wanna spend another $130 for a set, which is I already did. So this time I would like to try something else.
So which Lug nuts are you using? For those guys who using red or blue lug nuts. Is yours color fading? Thanks

 

I'm using the same lugs as you. The RAYS Duralumin ones.

I hear Kyokugen and Muteki's suck, they strip easily.

See if McGard makes any red lugs.

 

I have heard the horror stories with Kyokugen, and had a friend who had a problem with his.

Though when a deal came across my path, I jumped on it (rims with tires) and this deal also came with the Kyokugen Silver open faced lugs.

I like them actually (had them on my last car 02 Civic SI), though I could see where if over trq. it would be hard to get off.

Also I have been reading sizes like 1.25 or 1.5 with lugs? Which one do we use?

Kyokugens work fine..you just cannot use an impact gun on them.

McGard has red ones though - check the net for them

 

Sorry, not really want to sell them and buy a new set. But willing to trade for USED red Volk nuts
