I have a CS. I seen a good deal on the Axis Hiros (bronze) wheels. What do you guys think of the combination?

i have the chrome silver z too. i have to say NAY on the CS + bronze combo.

 

Volk CE28N, Although these are my track wheels I always get compliments on the bronze color. I like the contrast.

 

gotta add another vote to the "no" column.

 

Chrome and Bronze...I don't think the two should be mixed. IMO, it would look cool for a year or two, then I would be like wtf was I thinkin?! Something just doesn't trigger right in my brain when I see the two together. Gold and Pikes Peak is my favorite.

 

It's going to be a lot of $ so make sure you get what you really want. If that's Bronze wheels on a CS then I'd say go for it as it looks cool. If not I'd save up for what you really want.

i sold my bronze lmgt4's to a chrome silver owner from this board, i saw him driving around, i really liked the look, it looked real aggressive

Wheels look better in person, photos just don't do the bronze justice.

 

I like the look of Redfoot's CS with bronze rims. It has a nice contrast and makes it look sportier. IMO it looks much better than chrome rims that I see on Zs. Chrome rims just do not convey any sense of performance to me. I guess it has to do with the bling bling culture.

Redfoot, what size tires are you running?

 

front is 245/40 rear is 275/35

 

i'm having the NISMO bronze alloys put on my liquid aluminum today. guess that's a vote in the yes column

i think the bronze looks more "track" than "bling-bling." just depends on your taste. i'll put pics up ASAP if you're interested...
