I know Carter and Jim Thompson used spacers, but I don't remember what size. With longer studs, you're probably not going to have a problem.

Jim said they used the limit, 25mm. He was selling them for a while.

I used spacers on my 240SX for three years in autocross and track events with no issues at all. I had bolt on type in the front, and long studs with slide on spacers in the rear... no problems with either at all.

where did you get them from? Are they Z specific studs, or just standard 12x1.25 with whatever length? I know the knurl size(whatever it's called) is pretty important.

I also run the H&R 20mm spacers with the studs they provide (which I seem to remember are slightly longer than 60mm?) I know these where back ordered for a few months, could be they changed the studs they provide.

The knurled ends match the stock ones good, maybe a little shorter... haven't hand any problems with them for over 10,000 miles, they fit real tight. I usually change studs once a year if they don't break sooner, probably due for a change soon.

So you didn't get the 350Z specific spacer from H&R? check that you get at least 5 turns (7 is better) on the 60mm bolts... IIRC they will be too short for a 20mm spacer w/stock wheel. Stock lug bolts are ~44mm in rear so you should only lose about 4mm..

I'm only using the 20mm spacers on the front. the H&R spacers came with bolts but I already had the nismo ones so the H&R bolts will be back up. They look to be the same size.
