Default Wheel Advise Needed

I am looking into Volk GTC's in 18X9/18X10 w/+24 offset. I have had one supplier recommend a 255/35/18 front, 285/35/18 rear tire fitment while another recommends 245/40/18 & 275/40/18 citing the 255/285 would require me to roll fenders to avoid rubbing.

Can anyone tell me which is right or if you want to recommend wheel size, offset or tire alternatives please chime in. My particular scenario is as follows:

The car has been lowered by Hotchkis springs, .6" front, .7" rear. I am currently running stock 17's. My goal is to flush out the wheels a bit but don't want them to come out past the fenders. I would say that just a tiny little bit inside the wheel wells is the look I want.

Chances are you will have to roll with the wider tires. My fenders are cut with 275's but I am lowered more than an inch.

Go with the wider tires...but I'm bias. I'm running 275's front and 295's rear with a 25+ offset all around. Love my stance. Also, a buddy is running the same as mentioned but dropped his an inch or slightly over and STILL clears everything...but it's close. I'm thinking you should be fine with the drop you mention even if you go with the wider setup you suggest.

go 245/35/18 and 275/35/18 if you don't want to roll the fenders.

But the bigger the tire, the more badass it looks.

I'm quite sure you won't have to roll with 285's...you're only 1mm different on offset than me or my buddy that are running 295's...but we are on 10.5 inch wheels...can't do the calc in my head...but give my info to your wheel guy, and he can calc exactly where you'd end up by comparison.
