Default Lug Nuts...

Considering a set of lightweight alloy lug nuts, anyone have any input or suggestions?

I am running the Mutekis. They are the lightest I have found, with about almost a quarter of the weight of the OEM lug nuts. Beware that they are of a rather soft metal though, and wear off the corners without too much effort if you are careless or clumsy with the socket wrench. The open end design is also not recommended for winter use if your area sees a lot of water and corrosive salt!

Rays Engineering Performance Lug Nuts

Rays Engineering has a line of performance lug nuts made from Duraluminum. the lug nut are extremely strong and light (the Rays lug nuts are 0.8 oz. each compared to 2.1 oz. for the stock pieces).

The Rays lug nuts also feature one 7-sided nut per wheel. These heptagonal nuts look stock from a distance, but can only be removed with the specially designed socket that comes with the set. they are available in anodized red, blue, or black.

dulalmin lugnuts are one of the best I've ever used. Same material as the Rays half the cost.

The don't specifically make them for the Z but they fit perfect.

Thanks Jason... I already ordered them, Jeff took care of me.

Question, what's the recommended torque wrench setting with these?
