Worst idea ever...what happens if you hit a curb or a pothole? Bam. There goes your wheel. Also, its no like your rim will bend like a metal rim...CF just shatters on impact.

 

I think thats track use only.

I remember a FULL carbon fiber, this may be that as well, and just coated on the spokes.

but anyway, in that case, the rotors were like part of it, and cooling on them was insane. you could not possibly fade, the whole rim was a giant heatsink.

 

Probably a magnesium core.
