Default Can Anyone tell me why this would/wouldnt work?

Looking at a set of replica Mustang Cobra R wheels for my Z as a set of autox wheels for slicks. Theyre 17x10.5 +27 with a 5x114.3mm pattern. the centercap is 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) and it has 6.83" of backspacing. Theyre 150 bucks a piece with free shipping and theyre about perfect size & offset so I figured I would ask. thanks for any info!

And they weigh probably close to 30 lbs.... Not a good autoX wheel at all... Find out the weight, if it's 25 or lower then I don't see why the 9" all around or 9f 10.5r wouldnt work... For AutoX wheel width isn't a huge deal IMO, weight is. Granted Im running 245/275 R comps now, but my next tires are going to be 285/295 so I want at least 9.5" all around but would prefer 10" all around width wise, and would like to stay at around 19-22 lbs.

http://www.wheelhq.com/mustang-black-cobra-17x105.html

my stock wheels weighed close to 25 pounds. My nismos were supposedly around 18 pounds but the fattern tires put the overall weight right back up to the same as stock. the race tires will be 4-5 pounds lighter than the street tires so the Cobra R's with Hoosiers will weigh about the same so weight is no real concern. I'm not looking for high quality, just cheap & wide. Planning on running a 315 out back and 275/285 up front to get a solid sidewall for turn in and feel. I'm just wondering if the back spacing or the center hub being smaller than whats needed will cause a problem as the wheel will not be "hub-centric"...not sure if that will cause a problem as speeds will never approach triple digits.

10.5 all around would not be good.

I'm not even sure the front has room for a 10.5. It'd either hit the fender or the springs.

There have been tons of guys run 18x10.5's all the way around on Z's...stands a reason that a 17x10.5 wont fit lemme know. with a plus 27 offset it should be fine, might need a 5mm spacer. the tires would be the problem and my 275/35-18's dont touch.

I'm just wondering if anyone has run these up front and encountered any problems that ya just cant fix.
