How pray tell could you have known from those pictures?
Some things I noticed: Authentic TE spokes have a softer profile when viewed from the side, the spokes are also less tapered for 18s. It's in the smallest details that you can see the differences.
Thanks guys, Yeah I was told they were pre 2010, in which case they are dead on. Some pre 2010 don't even say rays on the INSIDE. However I sent photos to a friend at mackin and he confirmed they are replicas. Either way, BigRez was the seller, and it was in person.
Couldn't you take him to a small claims court? You obviously know what this guy looks like and have his information. My thoughts... Don't sell the wheels for now, pay a little bit of money and try reaming this guy in his *******. He sold you a fake product (which you probably put a little cash on top to get).
