Default 2003 GoGreen street/track Z with many goodies

Parting starting. Will revise car price, but think I can get it to about $12k. I should have some control arm goodies, sway bars, a single exhaust (not the MD), harnesses, pulleys, plenum spacer, Top Secret CF hood, GTC wing, WPC-treated NISMO diff, 332mm StopTech front and Brembo rear brakes, as well as some wheels and tires up for sale in the upcoming weeks. The shocks, springs, seat, and roll bar have a home already; the ART pipes and MD single are going on the race car.

IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN THE STRIPPED-DOWN VERSION OF MY GREEN CAR TO PREP THEIR OWN NASA SPECZ CAR, I'M VERY WILLING TO HELP WITH THAT. Meaning, that I'd help with the transition of the suspension/exhaust/etc goodies since I can easily sell those on my own, however, it's not worth it for me to put back in an OEM/other suspension to sell this car if you plan on putting the SpecZ stuff into it.

It's come time to sell the street-n-track Z, as I've moved on to a FULL race Z for the 2012 season. It's a 2003 Performance model, clean title in-hand. KBB private party value is ~$12.5k, and this car comes with at least $11k of "goodies".

This is the race car I've purchased for the next few years, NOT the car I'm selling:

I'll try to sell the green Z as it sits right now, but will part out in January if necessary. The car is basically street legal depending on your state, and is set up very well for HPDEs and having fun. I am asking $16.9k for it as it sits today. The car is mostly gutted, as only the dash is intact. I have a box with the stock parts that can go along with the car. It has right around 70k miles on it, and the engine is not original. We replaced the engine after it overrevved in November of 2009 while at Laguna Seca, so we picked up a used factory engine with known oil consumption. That means two things: it had less than 60,000 miles on it (and I've put 5,000 more miles on it since over the past two years), and it burned at least 1qt of oil every 1000 miles. I've changed the oil every 500 miles since we purchased it, or about 10 times, and every time it was 1/2 qt low, so it burns right at the minimum of 1qt/1000 miles. This is a non-issue to me given what the car is used for. Compression, leakdown, and horsepower are all excellent.

It is painted "Go Green" which is the same used by Dodge in the early 70s on their Dart, Charger, etc. Go Green is the rarest of the colors Dodge used to paint their Charger R/Ts:

We added some black accents to the paint to spice it up a bit, though the interior is still the original silver. The paint in this picture looks a little brighter than the Charger above, though the paint constituents are exactly the same. The paint is certainly not in the best condition at this point, as I had an off at Laguna last year which scraped up the rear passenger side of the bumper a little bit, and some of the paint has chipped at the front splitter as well as on the door handles. This is not a show car, though it looks pretty good from a few feet away.

Here is the car when it was silver with SSR Comp wheels, followed by a pic of one of the wheels with my screen name per the forum's rules:

It will come with 18x10.5 x 4 +27 TSW Interlagos wheels with 285/315 Hoosiers, not the RPF1s that are in some of the pictures below. 18x10 SILVER RPF1 wheels may be an option - all of which I'm open to discuss.

Here it is with the 10.5" TSW wheels and Hoosiers:

The car is not "straight line" fast, though it does make 272rwhp/252rwtq in its current state on 100 octane:

259/242 on 91 octane:

Current modifications include, but are certainly not limited to:
Stoptech 332mm front kit OEM Brembo rears (secret #1 to this car's quickness around a course)
Authentic Top Secret Carbon Fiber Hood (was over $1800!)
NISMO V2 replica front bumper
Truechoice Phase IV coillovers: twin tube constuction, double adjustable with independent adjustablity for rebound and compression. Resprung with hypercoil springs 650lbs front and 500lbs* rear. Revalved by Truechoice for the stiffer spring rates. Based on Koni yellow shocks, the coilovers feature shorter cases and piston rods. Over all setup R&D performed by the Performance Nissan Grand AM team for Truechoice. Since they are based on a Koni product, they can be serviced by any authorized Koni service provider in the nation (secret #2 to the car's quickness): https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...er-review.html
NISMO LSD with cryo treatment and HPC coating and finned diff cover (mandatory for a track car)
Hotchkis sway bars
SPL front upper arms with SPL bushings
SPL rear camber arms
K&N Intake with CARB sticker
Jim Wolf Tech clutch and light weight flywheel
MotorDyne Plenum Spacer
Lightweight Pulleys
MotorDyne Shockwave Exhaust
MotorDyne ART pipes
APR GTC300 wing
Kirk bolt-inRoll bar
G-force 5-point harnesses
ARP 12x1.5 extended wheel studs
Sparco Evo fixed-back race seat
3120# with a full tank of gas
Other things I'm sure I'm forgetting

Video at Sears Point (1:54.3 best lap on RS3 street tires):

Video at Buttonwillow (13CW, 2:01.1 best lap on RS3 street tires):

Video from Laguna Seca (1:42.3 best lap on Hoosier A6)

Video from Thunderhill (2:05.6 over the cyclone on Hoosier R6, 2:03.x with the bypass on RS3 street tires)

And a little autox fun:

and more pictures:

If you want the car for a lower price, here are some things that can easily be removed/replaced:

-GTC rear wing
-Kirk roll bar
-TC Kline DA shocks (can replace with stock)
-Sparco race seat
-Harnesses
-Front StopTech and/or rear Brembos (I do not have OEM front Brembos for replacement)
-MD ART pipes
-MD Single exhaust pipe and XYZ pipe
-NISMO LSD and finned cover
-Swap 10.5" wheels with race rubber for stock wheels with street rubber
-SPL front upper arms with SPL bushings
-SPL rear camber arms

The number and company names are only stickers, and are easily removable.

Cheers.

Good luck with the sale. First top picture of your car looks great! I was kind of sad to actually see my car load up on the trailer last night. When you get time you should call me and Ill tell you about the 2 hour long loading up the car and backing out the truck onto the HWY story lol.

Not to get off topic, but do those TSWs fit on the front w/o spacers? Do you think a 295/30 Hoosier would fit?

A little off topic but a bump for you:

Is that hood vented to drain water? Interested in getting one but no garage for me.

GLWS!

Thanks! Yes, let's catch up soon. Maybe later tonight after 9 or so. ? . ?

295/30 has fit, but I do run 13mm spacers to clear the Stoptechs. I'm not sure if only a 5mm would work, but I could test fit on Friday.

The vents do have the option to have a catch platform or not.

If this car was yours, then you - too - could chase down the 1/4-million dollar, 562HP, Ferrari 458!

Nope. I have a few interested in the entire car, so unless/until those fall apart, I'll leave it as whole. Plus, I don't really want to deal with the lowballs on the parts if at all possible. The car is sorted as it is, parting it will be a sin, if necessary.

Thanks. I hope to do a shakedown at Thunderhill on 1/22 if I can get it prepped in time; we'll see.

I can take some.

Why? Shipping is about $700. It could be done quite easily. Heck, at full price, I'll split the shipping.
