Now we are getting some action In here.

In all actuality. It's a great car and it is a bummer there are so many Z's produced which is why the price for resale is lower than how we feel about the cars. I'm sure there are great deals out there, such as all the ones you guys have mentioned but each month and year the economy changes and so does somebody wanting these cars. I'm not worried a about the asking price or the car sitting in the garage until it gets sold. There is no rush. The s2000's, CRV, MG and soon to have NSX get more use than the Z so the miles won't change much either.

If you all are so upset about my price please complain to somebody who cares because until somebody complains and has money in hand to buy it, I won't change the asking price.

Thanks

I bought my solar orange roadster almost 2 years ago and I paid 20k. Maybe the other posters words are too harsh but 28 grand is a lil much to ask

the bank won't even give out a loan close to 28 grand... check bluebook and nada values if you really want to sell your car

I'm a douch and full of myself?

You screen name is a car you most likely can not and never will be able to afford.

I can sell the car for any price I want. Your pointless comments and rants have no affect on the sale. I'm not trying to rip anyone off. Your telling me when you bought your BMW the price on the sticker is what you paid? NO, you negotiated and got the car cheaper than the asking price.

The car is fairly rare due to only 500 in this color made, less made in this set up, and of course the ones that have been wrecked.

I know I am about 6000 over NADA, Kelly and others but they do not adjust for rareness, location, current market, and other variables.

yeah, 28k is a bit much.... Rare? is it numbered? Four months ago, I bought my 2007 Nismo Z for 22.4k with 14k miles.

Can we all just stop ripping him for his sales price? Yes it is high, he even admitted it. But cars have sentimental and rarity value that a calculator doesn't take into consideration. He can ask whatever he want for his car. Just please stop saying the same thing in each post. This is a sales thread, not a discussion thread. If more people would sell their cars at this price point, we would have less immature people owning Zs and a better community because of it.

LOL, let the guy ask what he wants for his car. If someone is willing to pay that for it then let them. Most people are smart enough to search for similar vehicles to see what they are selling for, and if they are not then oh well. They should have done they're research before hand.

Well that's the point isn't it. The forum is designed to help people in every way possible. Even if it's to educate other members on what cars should really be priced at and let them make up their own mind in the end.

Op has his opinions and so do other members. I wonder if you would let your family buy this car and not say anything to them.

No I wouldn't. However, I also won't bash a guy for asking what he feels his car is worth.

I agree the forum is designed to help people. However, bashing the OP over his price isn't really helping him. I'm sure that if the OP wanted to sell the car he would adjust his price. To me, it seems like he just doesn't really want to sell it. And again, if anyone is dumb enough to not do their research before a purchase like this then it is their own fault for over paying for a car.

Wow. I never though people would get so upset. This is just ridiculous. I appreciate those of you defending my post and I'm sorry to those of you who have no control of yourselves.

McLarenF1, you need to loosen up. You attack me like I have done something to you. I'm not sure what you want to accomplish from your comments and name calling but it is quite childish. Your assumptions are incorrect as well. The interior has no scratches or anything. The interior actually has no rattles or noises over bumps and poor road conditions. The car is in a real good condition. I'm sorry if you bought one that is in need of cosmetic repairs and assume all of them are like that.

I clearly said "I do NOT" need to sell the car.
I said its rare due to the color and set-up. No there is no #badge or anything but it's like a GPW w/tan interior s2k.

You can not guarantee I won't sell the car for my asking price either. Just a FYI

Thanks again for bumping my post to the top!

Thanks for showing us this car and for being very meticulous in describing its condition including the few small defects. I was shocked at the sky-high price and predictably you have taken a beating over it. In further posts you stated you didn’t expect to actually get the asking price and were open to negotiations. You explicitly asked for members here to make an offer. I not really comfortable with this, as I have to make my offer sight unseen, with all the perils that entails. You will understand that I wish to proceed with caution and keep my offer a little less than I might be prepared to pay. So taking my lead from your asking price my offer is $8,000. Thank you for your consideration.

I feel some sarcasm coming on.....

I do appreciate your offer but at this point in time I'm not ready to accept that offer. Thank you though
