FS: FS: 2007 Solar Orange Touring Roadster
Hello everybody, I'm putting this feeler out now to see what kind of interest I might get and hopefully lead to a sell. There is no rush which is why I'm posting as a feeler first.
Contact: Doug Crofton PM or email: croftoncustoms@hotmail.com Specs:
VIN: JN1BZ36AX7M650055
Year: 2007
Color: Solar Orange
Body: Touring Roadster (black leather with orange stitching, heated seats, navigation, convertible, Bose...
Miles: 43,000 (rounded up) 2 owner No accidents
Price: $28,000 OBO
I will disclose all info I have and will answer any question to the best of my ability.
This car is completely stock and has never been modified. Everything works and functions as it did from day one. The car was originally from Denver, CO and came to Albuquerque,NM when my girlfriend bought it (sight unseen) back in 2011.
We had it at Melloy Nissan for a few oil changes and the next handful were done by myself using Mobile1.
The car has been in rain but nothing else. I have done a full clay bar, polish and wax to the car and keep a layer of wax on it (all Zainos Bros) along with a layer of RaggTop cleaner and protection. The interior is treated with Zymol leather cleaner & conditioner and vinyl protectant.
The car sits by itself in the 3rd garage bay under a OEM Z car cover so the car rarely sees the outside world and when it does it's pretty darn nice out.
There were a few paint chips in the front end which were filled I with a matched tri-coat paint. The driver seat had a tiny bit of wear on the side back bolster which I dyed black.
I think the previous owner curbed a wheel, got it repaired and the silver finish is coming off a bit. It is not really noticeable.
I guess that is it but feel free to ask ANY and ALL questions.

Good observation. I didn't say they were exact matches. I used lots of data and came up with my price that way. The two references are just examples of similar cars and their prices.
I can ask anything for my car and I know somebody is/will be looking for a rare car like this one. basics of selling a car private party and the concept of Supply and Demand. There is only 1 other higher mile, non-stock SO in the US right now that I can find.
I have sold 4 other cars and thousands of dollars of parts on another forum.
Enough defending my price. Make a offer or keep to yourself. Thanks guys.

I appreciate your "constructive criticism". Everybody on this forum seems like a great person!
I'm not sure if you understand my original post or any concept of sales but there is a reason a person selling such an item will have the price a bit higher than they "know" they will get, that allows for the expected lowball offers and then the real offers in which negotiating will usually take place and a fair price will be reached.
If I start at $25,000 I know that will be my max but could go lower. If I start at $28,000 then I will probably negotiate and sell for less.
This is a part of sales and usually not just posted up, it's just a given.
Sorry if you cannot understand this concept and you see my price and just get upset and make assumptions right away.
But at the end of the day I know I will get what I want (most likely not on this forum) because there is somebody looking for this car and like they say, " you got to pay to play." Thanks again guys!

I fully understand the concept of sale, but it comes to a certain point to where the offering price is so high people ignore the sale all together...such as your ad here. People on this forum know what these cars are worth and what they sell for. At any rate, this conversation with you is redundant so best of luck selling your Z.
This forum can be a junkyard to some but for me I've met a lot of local car enthusiats/friends that I learned from. This place also taught me a lot as well so this isn't a junk... jokes at times lieterally (ie: Twins, Kayfunk and Dugan etc. lolz) but not junk.
GLWS OP - Solar Orange is a rare color, sometimes I wish I had gotten that color instead of black (was on the lot at the time of my purchase) due to its rariety.
