Can you do polls on these forums? I preferred the coupes. I actually never liked the convertibles at all in the beginning. I had a strong distaste for them where I felt it tarnished what the original coupe had to offer in terms of looks. That said, I've seen some convertibles since this initial opinion that have swayed my opinion a lot but still prefer the coupe.

I'll be parting out my coupe soon enough. You can just buy it then.

I think the logical selections would be CMP, Road Atlanta, or VIR. They're all in reasonable driving distance depending on the owner of the loaner roadster. I'll look at the track day schedules and see what options are available. What do you say we run for $4000 so it's worth it? The track day passes are gonna cost us $500-750 by themselves, so we might as well make the pot worth the costs (inspection, fluids, etc). Cash or certified funds put into escrow a week before the race to make sure that no one is going to back out and leave the other with the prep and track day costs.
Winner takes my car clean and clear. But if I win I get the money and the respect.

Manual / Coupe Z as better performing car? It's the driver, not the car.

That's all I can say.
Put two dead equal drivers as far as skill is concerned in both cars and the hardtop will be more confidence-inspiring and a little quicker and lighter on its feet.

- looks like a grandma car [OPINION]
- convertible has to have transmission upgrade for high HP while coupe does not [FALSE FACT]

The two items that I disagreed and called you out for were the two that I've marked above as FALSE FACT. People will have differing opinions because of personal perception (so there is no point arguing about someone's opinions), but facts are either true or false because they can be measured and proven.
Well-written.

Always with sunglasses, and a sort of smug expression with a slight $hit eating grin where you can tell he's thinking "look at all these people looking at me asking who's that cool dude in that cool ride". Z's not as much though, but the "attitude" of the coupe is still just better IMO.
Yeah, I agree. I know that it is just opinion as Sparkle mention but I laugh at guys who have verts because the desire to get a vert is such a girly thing (in my opinion) Reminds me of the topless bugs with the girls that drive those.

Most guys that look like the ones you wanna be friends with are in hard tops, trucks or regular family sedans.

The guy in the vert could be the cooooolest guy in the world but the look it gives off is unavoidable.

I think the girl is in the passenger seat because she's checking out the ZR and about to make an offer.

Sparkle did have some valid points though. No need to turn it into a pissing match.

I dont know where this thread is now but this , bro thats anything an average person can do, my little sister puts on her own brakes and does her own tune ups sit down somewhere with that nonsense.

Sure it's something the average person can do. But it's not what the average person will do. Reread my sentence fool.

Most of the people I know with Zs arent average when it comes to cars, just like most of the people on this forum, those mods you put on most people have put on themselves no problem.
