50/50 mix of Redline MTL/MT-90. Meets Nissan viscocity requirements with friction modifiers that help synco operation. I use it in both my street and SCCA 350Z race cars.

I just switched from Royal Purple to the Redline combo and have found that the cold stiffness of the trans is much less now.
OP - you can't go wrong with either. But definitely put a synthetic oil in there and replace your diff oil with a synthetic too.
we run Motul Gear 300 75w-90 in all of our cars (street and Competition) I know Nismo uses alot of motul fluids and uses there labels Dont quote me but i believe Nismo editions and GTR's come with Motul fluid from factory.
Please tell me you don't actually use that snake-oil and believe that it works?
It does work, have you tried it???
Ask me how.. Well before I tried it my oil psi at idle was dropping to about 15-20ish, after running it a few months and flushed it out.. I put new mobil 1 and its at 35-40psi at idle.. It lubricates for real!

I haven't tried Zmax or seen any research on them specifically, but for many years now tests and research have shown that oil additives such as these offer little or no benefit. Quality oil products already contain the necessary additives, enhancers, preventatives, etc.

Dave,
I checked the Redline website but don't I see that MTL and MT-90 are syn oils. I'm in the process of doing a clutch/FW and fluid upgrade so I want to have a good syn fluid in there.
Is that the same as the stock fluid? My trans pedal gets stick when my fluid heats up (high rev'ing/hot summer days). Apparently, that fluid can't handle high heats. I'm looking for something syn and reliable.
