I don't know how old you guys are but is it just me.....I went back to Viet Nam quan five years ago and I miss it so much now! Whenver it rains I think of Viet Nam, when I hear ppl honking their horns I think of Viet Nam.

I get ya...experiencing the culture is a must...but come night time and you see all these young beautiful girls at restaurants, bars, etc. Temptations and desires take over esp being young and single. Not all the girls there are prostitutes. Some are just really nice girl from rich families...you can tell right away. But yeah...sometimes I miss it too

i guess i am a fob vietnamese.
i can understand when people talk but i speak in broken vietnamese.
i want to go visit my people but i can't due to my schedule of work.
my parents go all the time but i've never been. hopefully i can go one day.

Its very good to keep in touch with your herritage. I grew up in a English/Spanish environment and at one point in my life forgot how to speak Vietnamese. I now attend chua every week and my vietnamese is coming back fast. I love it! I am greatfull that I had the oppertunity to experience other cultures.... but never forget your past.
