CD Error F3
So, I have 3 CDs made from some mp3z I downloaded and decompressed so they'd play on my CD player. All three play on every other player I own, ranging from a 1990 NEC to a fairly new Daewoo CD/DVD player to an old Panasonic LD/CD player (how's that for obscure...). I tried burning the CDs at speed=4 or 32, but that makes no difference. I even used the last 650MB CDRs I owned to try that, rather than the 700MB ones you buy now.
One of the three plays fine, one plays about half-way through then gives me the error, and the 3rd just gives me the error right away. The display reads, "CD ERR F3", then the player spits out the disk. The service manual offers no information about this.
If I copy a commercial CD onto a CDR, or make a mix CD from tracks I've ripped, I have no problems.
Any ideas from the informed masses? This is the Enthusiast system, not the Bose POS.
