I understand it is the same Bose system that are in all Z`s. Hope they fix the problem, my dealer is useless he doesn`t have a clue.
I was asked for a $2500 deposit, I said no way. He rang me three weeks later and I have a refundable drive before buy deposit of $500, people who slam down $ 000`s are in line before me, so I may have to wait until April/ May.
Though the pre-order according to my dealer hasn`t been that strong. Don`t forget next year the RX8 comes out < $70K, the new BMW Z4 starting @ $75K, Alfa GTA @ $65K, New Saab 93 soft top @ $70K and I think an updated S 2000 as well, so later in the year competition means haggling.

I intend to haggle on price now, not late next year. If they don't want to move on price (even more so given the downspec'd Track we're getting) I'm happy to go elsewhere

$1900 refundable deposit.
Don't think you will be able to haggle with price as the number of Z's comming in are not that many.
Some were sold at the Motor Show.
Then there is 4 per dealer for the feb delivery
Then there are 4 per dealer for march
Then 2 per dealer after that.
I don't think we get tire pressure monitors either like other countries

What you can haggle with though is the dealer delivery charges.
Some nissan dealers charge over $2000 while others charge over $1000.
I would like that job $2000 to wash and clean a car, put plates on it and rip off the plastic. Do 3 cars a week @ $2000 and I would be making $312,000 a year before tax.

Believe me, if the dealer wants a sale they'll move on price. I also have the advantage that I don't have my heart set on one of these. If I don't get a price I'm happy with (and I'm not expecting massive drops) I can go elsewhere.
I actually had the dealer run down the street after me with the last car I bought when he realised I wasn't coming back. One of the funniest things I've ever seen.
Good point MR RIZK, find out how much the dealer prep is then tell them not to do any of it and drop it off the price. I can remove the protection sheets and put my own plates on and to be honest I'd rather they didn't go near the paint.
