? for Op or anyone else that might know. I recently put on the OEM 19" g35 wheels. I had them rebalanced due to one guy that did it wrong. When the master tech saw the front tires(came w/ the wheels used) he noticed high-low spots on the inside part of my tires.

Will this cause excessive shaking(steering wheel) at speeds of 65mph+? Also if thats the case will this method of rotation help at all? I'm thinking I could have radial pull on one of the tires as well. My car pulls to the right now ever since I had them put on.

Wow thanks for this thread I rotated my tires with my friend and looks like we did it totally wrong and now my tires are all uneven at 18k.

So is this something everyone does? Is it universally accepted as 'worth it'?

I definitely understand the concept... I just would feel more willing if I had a buddy or something with a shop.

So if I was to flip all of my tires meaning that the bald edge was on the outside, what happens when I throw my car really hard into a corner? Seems like I would have less traction than usual? I am thinking that I would rather install camber kit and toe bolts to get better tire life, and not screw around with flipping the tires around every 10k miles. Plus it makes my butthole pucker up whenever one of these shops has to touch my expensive wheels. I don't even let the stealership check my tire pressure anymore because once they did that and left scratches on the wheel lips under each valve stem. So the less times tires need to be manipulated on the wheels, the better.

So basically this is like remounting tires... Should cost just a tad more than the normal $$ to balance and mount tires since there is an extra step of dismounting the tires.

How much more tire life are people getting out of their tires by doing this though? If it's close to 10k miles I would say it's worth it, but if it's 3-4k miles, is it worth the cost to mount and rebalance?
