Default Tokico Dspec or HP

After about 25K miles of Tein S-tech on the stock suspension it has started to go. Im not sure how much longer I am going to have my Z, but I want a shock that is going to last longer than the stock one. What do you guys think? Is the HP basically a stock replacement or is it a litte stronger than stock?
Is the Dsepc worth the extra money?

Thanks...

Not all oem shocks are the same and we do not know which oem shock Tokico HP's patterned. They are alleged to offer more rebound and slightly more compression dampning. If that's vs 03/04 shocks the extra rebound is a must, added compression isn't called for. Vs 2004.5+, it's all good. The D-spec is worth the extra money because of the adjustable dampning and because as their performance shock it uses shorter rear bodies to pickup more travel in the rear. And D-spec do fix the things that are wrong with oem 03/04 shocks.

Yeah mods please move...I was wondering why I couldnt find my post...Daydreaming

I do have a 2003 Z and I heard about the issues with them, honestly I was supreised that they died out soo soon. Right now they are at 25K but I started having problems a couple of thousand miles into it.

Anyone have any experience on the HP's longterm with lowering springs?
