welll, i got tires mounted on my 57xtreme and i have to say, even on the silver 350, near stock, not dropped, i am now also scraping on that car....

i didnt even think it was an aggressive fitment either, 18x9.5+22 with sumitomo z3 275/40.

guess i will be buying a fender roller and rolling both front fender of my car.

and here i am thinking that i would be safe with that set up since my "espresso" (te37) are 18x9.5+22 on hankook v12 275/35 never rubbed.

just goes to show, that different tires have variant width even when theyre supposedly the same size. this whole weekend had been a learning experience.

edit: i will now always run a tad bit less aggressive tires and fitment just to make sure this wont happen again.

I rubbed up front until i removed the middle fender liner screw. No more rubbing with 19x9.5 et22 265 35. Not rolled front just removed that middle screw. Give that a try.

that's what i told him to do. Also if your tire was to hit that screw hard enough it will poke into the fender and will leave a nice ding.

Im actually rubbing the edge of the fender, or atleast thats what it appears to be. Ill remove the screw and see if that helps.

Got that on both sides of my car. After that I removed it, cut the screw in half and reinstalled. Much better now, I also pulled my front fenders slightly, simple to do with a pair of hands

Didnt you use a fender roller to pull you fronts a bit? I was researching this and i swear i saw a thread where you said you used the fender roller up front and it gave you a bit more room

Did that on a friends car, pulling by hand is easier and gave better results

Front fender, place hands next to each other and grab fender, pull slightly, move hands further down, pull slightly , repeat till you get the results. 1/8 to 1/2 inch is easily achieved.

Took me 5 minutes to do both sides of WetdreamZ car in the paddock of Streets of Willow. He was slightly rubbing with his 9.5 +15 265/35-18 setup

Well, i got the 2mm spacer on the black car today and it is a TIGHT fit between the spokes and the brakes, but it fits. And the best part, NO MORE SCRAPING!!!

As for the silver car, i did as terra adviced and pulled the fender, along with removing the screw, and it only scraps if im going faster than 50mph and hit a decent size bump. So no worries there.
