Default CD009 / SPEC P-Trim clutch issue

So I have a CD009 trans with a Spec P-Trim twin disk clutch on my '03. I've got the correct pivot ball in the car, and I'm still having shifting issues with it. I will sometimes get grinding between gears and other times I get RPM lockout, i.e. at high RPM with the cutch all the way in I'm still unable to shift. I have an RJM peddle in the garage, just waiting on getting the car back from the shop to put it in as well as a new HD Wilwood master cylinder. I shimmed the pivot ball with a 1/8 in washer and it made the issue a little better, and swapping to the longer pivot ball made the problem worse...

Anyone got any thoughts? If need be, the next step is to order a new trans and replace it, but I'd like to avoid that as long as I can. (don't think I can if the new pedal and MC don't work) Thanks everyone.

I would install the new clutch master cylinder before you make any decisions. It could be a hydraulic issue. I wish you luck.
