Quick Exhaust Y Pipe Question!
Hey guys does anyone know if the bolt studs connecting the cats to the y pipe are welded on or pressed in? One of the bolts is stripped and instead of rethreading it I would rather remove it and use a new one from the hardware that my new y pipe came with. What's the easiest way to remove them (without the car being on a lift), I'm replacing it with the car on jack stands so leverage is not friendly in this case.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

the oem bolts connecting the y-pipe to the cats are not welded on, but they may appear to be
the oem flanges are threaded, making it easily rust-seized over time. when i changed my y-pipe, it was completely stuck. so i just cut the heads off the bolt to remove the y-pipe, then cut off the other end of the bolt, and then finally drill through the remainder of the bolt in the flange
obviously drill out the hole to be slightly larger than your new bolts
i also did this on jack stands
