ViS or ED (Duraflex) Front Bumper
Hey guys,
I've been doing some research on nismo V1/V2 replicas and have sort of narrowed it down to these two. I see a lot of reference to ViS lips/kits having fairly good fitment for a replica...and I've worked with the Duraflex material before (on a EG Civic I believe), and can't say it was a horrible experience...
So my question is, which of these two, or any other replica would you go with for a V1 front bumper? I've looked in to the Aerosync front as well...but it is almost double the cost of the ViS/ED.
I'm planning on doing the install myself, and having a local shop do the paint.
So, from your experiences, whats the "best" replica manufacturer for around ~$200?
Thanks guys!
Steve

I plan on installing myself. I have a fair amount of experience in body work and playing with fitment on several vehicles.
I might have to learn my lesson on this one...but I just can't justify spending 5 times the money in a genuine Nismo front, or 3 times as much on another replica.

Completely understand, and I've seen that same response on many many threads.

one more happy VIS customer.
Just because its not on the cover of D speed and the 21 yr olds on here say its not cool doesnt mean you cant enjoy it... save a grip..especially if its all you have. VIS wasnt perfect but its damn good, im buying another kit from them agian next month.
yes there are places of horror where the kit will be super terrible, but so far, VIS was 10x better than the wings west crap i had for my old 300zx.

I'm getting my car back on Thursday, had a VIS part put on, I'll post pictures for you guys to judge. FYI I have no idea how it will look, haven't seen it since I dropped it off. They said the kit fit very well when they gave me an update call but I guess we'll see.

I got a VIS V2 and the fitment was 99%. I had to dremel out some of the screw holes, but other than that, it was spot on. From all that I have read, I don't think that is always the norm though. Maybe I just got really lucky.
