bad fitment on amuse shine skirts? im surprised..
So I'm not talking bad about Shine Auto.. I'm just a little disappointed I guess(maybe i got the rotten apple of the batch), and I wanna know if there is anyone else that has the same issue and how did you fix it? I decided to buy some parts for my car and did a lot of research so I decided to get the amuse replicas by shine auto because I read a looooot of good stuff about them but. Now my buddy at the bodyshop emailed me some pics of the fitment and it just not as good as everyone says. So I wanted to know if I just got a bad batch or did you guys do any major work to them? Here are some pictures..

I also had the same problems with my Shine Amuse sides. For the portion sticking out, I drilled a hole through the skirts and put a push clip to hold it in place. After doing that the skirt and the door was flush.
There isn't much you can do for the front.

ALWAYS ALWAYS test fit first! regardless of how reputable the manufacture is... sometimes you just get a bad one. I would have the body shop fix it... I mean they are a body shop so it should be fixable.

^^but shine is pretty reputable. Atleast compared to a LOT of others out there. I agree that there should be a test fit first (no matter the manufacturer).
Looking at the pics provided by Steve774, looks like you can make it look pretty good though; at least with the door closed!

That actually doesn't look THAT bad. We will see how my shop fixes the issue if not I will do the same you did. I wished I could have test fitted them before I just went straight to shine auto n bought them on the spot while my car was in the shop getting other stuff fixed. Thanks for the tip anyway

I wonder if shine auto is aware of this.. I mean if they are, they should try to fix it that way it won't leave a sour taste in someone else's mouth who purchases this kit. Again not talking bad about them. But i thought they were going to be better.

I think there is a law or something that prohibits all after market manufacturers from mass producing perfect fitted products as it will significantly impact the sales of OEM products. This also relates to as why most body shops charge more to install aftermarket body kits because they know it will suck to make that bish fit like OEM. Most of us who run aftermarket body kits are satisfied with 90% fitment. It sucks to see a poor fitment sideskirt from Shine, which is Z community's favorite vendor. I think you have to suck it up this time.

Fitment looks good, just need minor work as any fibreglass body kit would.
