almost looks like the new caliper bracket is too low. That's going to be a bit difficult to sort out unless you go with a smaller diameter 1 pc rotor.

I agree, 1 pc rotor is totally fine, so I actually already sold this front set up to a friend who has pone pc akebono rotors now.
he's giving me his knuckles, ill clean those ones up,

I already bought a set of eight pot Brembos off an AMG S55, and the TCI will actually be much less, so I will wind up w a better brake system up front, and actually make a few hundred dollars.

I could use a DBA rotor w what I have now and be all set, but during the drama of all of this, I found I can actually make money doing this swap and selling what I have now.
I will also be able to sell the CZP rotors and pick up either a set of Z1 rotors ( slightly larger sweep area/smaller hat)

Since they all have to be re coated, Im in indecision about caliper color.

props on not giving up on the custom brakes. It's going to be a very unique setup once complete. My vote goes for the pearl white/pearl silver with decals matching the wheels...very clean.

easiest solution found..

keep the Cadillac set up and use a slightly heavier DBA front rotor.

I need 66m of pad area:

The DBA gives me 71mm of annulus ( braking surface) at the gain of a few lbs per rotor. Im perfectly fine with this.

It appears that the master cylinder piston size is nearly the same on the ctsv and the Z, 1 inch to the z's 1/16th inch.. but the ctsv has a short throw design.. this means the retrofit brakes will have an energized reaction to them by a slight degree, along with much less pedal travel now.

I guess we shall see how the ABS likes this all on a slam stop.. I will test it and see and report back of course, but for track purposes, we can easily unplug the ABS body if necessary as well.. I don't foresee an issue though.

mmmm carbon bucket seats..

perhaps.. I just don't want anything that looks cheap like red dots on a basic strip, that's my issue.
And I don't want it visible in the daylight behind the mesh

was just a test to see if the sanding was smooth enough to hide behind vinyl, but I actually like it, works for me for now. Added the alcantara stitched boot as well.

rear end is finally done except for the calipers... all the bolts were paint marked as well, since we have new bushings and will certainly compress a bit during initial use.

Used GKtech axles spacers from an S14 , which fit perfectly against the z axle spline and z hub bearing surfaces.. they will be included in the ctsv kit in the future now after what I had found to be necessary etc.

ordered up the front pair of DBA T3 2 piece rotors at (sadly) great expense, and also bought a new rebuilt steering rack.
I should have both by the end of the week.

And here I sit shaking my head [ yet again ] at Brian's relentless pursuit of "perfection in Z".

Brian, I think my new nickname for you is "Mister Extreme".

Awesome.... livin' vicariously (and learning lots) through your fanaticism. Heh heh.

If you put eccentric lock out kit on the camber arms , they will stay where you set them .

Same as you did on your toe arms.

Not sure I follow.. The lock out kit for the toe arms was due to having previously filed the hole for toe bolts.. There's no movement at the bolt on the camber arms.

The square lockout kit keeps it more seated and locked in place then the round OEM washers.

The spl eccentric kit brings enough to do both camber arms and toe arms.

here's mine

Or if you could make it the same material as the dash... That tablet reminds me of that scene from beetlejuice when he starts to elongate things...
