Default Stillen Stage 3 Dyno Results w/ problems *UPDATE*

Dynapack in 70 degree weather. 06 Non Revup, 5AT

Mods are as follows

Stillen stage 2 / popcharger / Apexi Ex-ti single / Nismo Y pipe and stock everything else. Mind you I have a slush box 5AT so you 6MT guys should dyno higher.

This dyno was interesting because the first 2 pulls was without the silencer on my 3" inch exhaust. When I put the silencer in for the third pull for more backpressure, the boost was higher but the HP/TQ was wayyy lower . I guess a free flowing exhaust after the stock cats is the way to go for the Stillen S/C .

The results make me happy since I already knew what this kit can/cant do.

Once I upgrade to stage 4 with meth injection and a small 35 shot of nitrous
ill probly have the results Im looking for in the end

Heres my old dyno on a dynojet with

Popcharger / 5/16 spacer / UR pulley / Berk HFC / Nismo exhaust

Something to compare even though its not the same dyno machine

STAGE 3 Update

On the dyno there was audible knock at high RPM's. We noticed the HP would suddenly drop when this occured. Apparently there isnt enough timing retard at high RPM's. All runs were with 91 octane california gas. Boost went from 6.5 on stage 2 and now its at 8 psi. Stillen said they need to swap my gold pulley for a blue or red one that will boost slightly less. Sigh, Stillens idiocy is really starting to bug me. Waiting on their call back basically.

Peak HP was 319.4

Looks to be about par for the course. At least you understood what you could expect going in.

Forget about the flame suit and nevermind the haters. Your results are better than stock and if you're happy with the results then thats all that matters.

What he said.

Although I must question why people would still consider this kit when other companies are starting to jump on the bandwagon of offering warranty's on the drivetrain.

As long as you like it, don't sweat it.

Not bad for a Stage 2, congrats!

I also upgraded my exhaust and felt more power but it cant be too free flowing. I went from a Fuji to an Injen ti and lost power now back to the Fuji again and making a full 7lb. of boost.

Doing a nitrous install within the next to weeks, just waiting for the kit to arrive. Should be fun.

One final thing, do you plan to upgrade that SS box b/c you wont be able to run a meth injection kit with it.

If you are happy Paul then that is all that matters. I don't have the fastest Z in SoCal or the highest HP but I AM EXTREMELY happy with the kit no issues what so ever..........rock on my Korean Brother.

Also the dyno sheets ( if that is what the x boxes are for ) did not show up so repost them.

That's cool, at least you still have another lb of boost or 2 before it's maxed
The boost & hp was linear but the tq was all over the place. How was the A/F?
I don't see a problem with adding meth to your kit for safety.
Add n2o & bye bye compression
