my Vortech SC Setup
Finally, after a long wait (about 4 months), the car went in for vortech sc installation..
i've created this thread to post in all the details/issues/problems i may face along the way rather than creating a new thread every time something comes up, and for anyone interested on how it goes.
What's on the car already:
-Stillen short ram intake
-MD Plenum Spacer w/ ISO Thermal
-Berk HFC
-Borla TD Exhaust
what's going on the car:
-Vortech SC v2 Tuner kit with Charge cooler (No FMU or SS Box)
-2.87 drive pulley
-600cc DW injectors
-Walbro 255lph fuel pump
-Koyo 36mm Vcore radiator
-B&M Trans oil cooler
-GTM HD engine oil cooler
-NGK one step colder spark plugs
-AAM oil pan spacer
-Nismo thermostats
along with AEM Boost, AFR and Oil pressure gauges..
Tuning with Osiris, by PM-Dyno.
will keep this thread updated.

all the best in your setup
+1 for hijacking.. but look at it from a postive point of view... maybe u will learn something out of it and avoid the reason while building your setup \
good luck bro

Update:...
Car is almost done, i'm missing couple of parts and need some advice.
first, i've order the AAM oil pan spacer to skip tapping the oil pan. but it came without the connector (dunno what it's called), and i need to find one. i need a name, any recommendation?
second, since i'm tuning with Osiris, the tuner asked me for a wideband.. even tho i'll be having the AEM EUGO (AFR gauge) installed, which isn't that accurate for tuning, can't he just read the AFR directly from Cipher and tune it through ROM Editor?
if not, then what do you recommend?
thanks

Update...
the car is done (installation).
finally!!
had to tow it to my house because of the bigger injectors and since there isn't an SS box with the kit.
hand was itchy and i couldn't resist, so i cranked it up!! woooo..! love the sound, and was watching the AFR guage going down hill (went from 14.9 to 12.xx), so i switched it off .. the fume is ughh..
can't wait till it's tuned..

You have a nice setup. Very similar to mine. I like all the oil coolers and large radiator. Prolly hot as hell over there. I recommend the wideband though. At first I didn't really like it but have come to realize that it is an essential piece of monitoring equipment. Get another gauge to cross reference like an "oil temp" or "exhaust gas temp." I'm a pilot so I love gauges

my car is full bolt on and stage 2 cams.. stock bottom end with the stock pulley and stock maf using osiris as my engine managemnt.. i ran outta voltage at 5800 rpm and made 377whp and 310wtq on a dynojet. im going back withthe pmas maf and should be pretty close or hit 400whp.. on 3.33 pulley.. the car pulls so hard with the cams.. its hot as hell in new jersey and i was thinking about an oil cooler.. its probably a major help right?

it's defo hot as hell.. spring is about 30c, summer reaches 50c.. oh, and winter is just as low as 12c.
i'm not sure why i went with oil pressure gauge (since we already have the stock one).

tuning is gonna be done tomorrow..
need your thoughts on this.. the belt doesn't look too tight, i can twist it 90 degrees and probs more.
i'm not sure if the tensioner is tightened enough (need to search for DIY), but i think i'll need a shorter belt (probs 80") if it's tightened at its max.
