@jerryd87 Damn I ordered the 6766 T4 divided with I think the 1.0AR 2 days ago. I might call them up and see if I can change it to the bigger housing.

I do plan to use the QSV coz I don't have enough skills like sasha to fabricate a twin scroll

so the 1.0a/r divided housing would more or less flow like the .68a/r open housing? and the 1.15a/r divided like the .81a/r open?

correct according to what precision told me when i called them. the 1.0 would be too small for our engines more like what a smaller 2.0 or something would use.

The 1.32 twin scroll is the largest housing you can get on the 6766. It will flow more than the .96 open housing. This is why I started experimenting with the twin scroll, aside from other advantages it will indeed flow more.

The open .96 a/r housing falls somewhere between the 1.15 and 1.32 twin scroll. I don't think there will be EBP issues with the 1.32 a/r twin.

Also, I think somebody mentioned the 6466, here are some dyno results between it, the 6266 and 6766:

my bad sasha thats just what i was told when i called but that dosnt mean everyone who works there knows correctly or has measured it lol. i was considering the turbonetics 1.52 housing for the 6765 with a qsv but if thats the case i might save up and end up with a 6766 down the road. first i gotta put er back togeather though lol

seems like 6466 would be a better option until 5400 rpms, so a little sooner on our engine then the 6766 be vastly better.

Wow on stock block the 6466 made more power. But I think the comparison for our engine should be the 3.4l

search google for the post Reid (Sound performance) posted with info on the new 66 wheels. He used his stock block supra (3.0 liter so not too bad off for displacement) and has back to back dynos comparing the 6266, 6265 and 6765.

Pretty nice info

edit, i looked at that honda forum post. They are incorrect when they say reid's car compared the 6766. In reid's post the only 67mm he used was the 6765. So it was 6265, 6765 and a 6266. So the reason the 6466 outperformed the 67mm is because the 67mm is 6765 not a 6766.

This is what I want to see.....I have a PTE BB 6266 Vband with .82 a/r being installed on my 3.5L Maxima now. Interested in seeing how that spools....going to be running 7PSI off wastegate, intercooler on stock block. Its a 6MT.

Bumping this thread to see if there is any interest in the twin scroll kits. The twin scroll is about 8% more efficient than the open inlet turbine, due to the bank seperation and superior scavenging.....

A few pics so you guys don't have to search through the thread:

And proof that it does work very well. (9psi, 6766 T4 1.0 a/r, JB, twin scroll, stock block DE). To get these numbers converted to a DJ numbers add 13%.

Complete kits with HPX MAF sensor upgrade, 6266 twin scroll turbo, 750cc injectors, UpPrev tuner, 340lph fuel pump...ect will be about $7,200. Ready for 600whp+ out of the box with a large turbine housing.

Cool, if I didn't have my aps I'd love to go for this. What is it like with the heat? My aps is desperate on track in its current form, heats up the coolant in no time at all

Precision turbos are not liquid cooled so the only increase in engine temps you will see are the increase due to additional horsepower of the engine. I ran up to 600hp on 100% stock cooling system without any issues. If it is a road racing car that would be a different story though since the car is high rpm for long periods of time so upgrades to the cooling system would be a must.

Sounds good. I will be making a few kits this winter right on my own car, and if there is enough interest I will then make the jigs for this twin scroll kit. I am working on the jigs for the 370z twin scroll kit:

False. Both bp kits attach to the header portion of standard length headers only.

Sasha you sure make a beautiful kit! I will definitely be purchasing one of your setups in the future, just not sure if i want to go with a full engine build right of the start or have some fun with the stock block first.
I was thinking about the 6766 T4 1.32 a/r twin scroll for a built block but what are your thought with that turbo on the stock block so I can start having some fun sooner? Also what kind of numbers do you think we could achieve with the built block set up? All the work you've done on these kits is nothing short of amazing ! Cant wait to start making some serious boost!!!

Thank you.

The 6766 will do just fine on the stock block. The dyno you see in the first post is with a 6766 T4 1.0 a/r turbo. The 1.32 a/r will spool slower of course, but will make more power per PSI due to flow.

The other thing to consider is purhasing the larger (1.32) a/r housing when you build the motor. It is about $250 to purchase, and for now you can run the smaller housing on the stock block. Just a suggestions. Also, if you are looking to get the engine built, let me know. I can help with getting it done right the first time.

As far as power goes, I hate to guess, but 650whp + on pump gas should not be a problem at all. I just had a customer make 610whp on pump gas with a 6266 T4 .81 a/r open inlet turbine. The tuner said that the the setup had another 30whp left in it. The larger 67mm wheel would do even better.
