Default More turbo kit options (all new kit from BP)

Update April 27, 2012:

Details:

9psi (Wastegate), stock motor, stock intake plenum, nonrevup, w/ borla headers ap 3" single exhaust, Haltech and ID1000s. Turbo is a Billet Precision 6766, T4 divided turbine housing with a 1.0 a/r

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is something I have been meaning to try for a while now, and finally got a bit of spare time so I went for it. There are a few benefits to a twin scroll over open, but that is the long boring explanation. If you wish to read up on it, Google is your friend.

The idea here was to make it a very easy/simple kit to install (just like the original BP ST kit), jut with a twin scroll housing. The other very important thing is that the exhaust banks are separated all the way, and the exhaust piping length from header to turbo is the same (within 1/2").

Now on to the good stuff..

Passenger side section:

There is still a lot of room here:

All new 66mm turbine wheel:

This kit will be available with the 6266 and 6766 T4 with the following a/r housings: .84, 1.0, 1.15 and 1.32.

I plan on using a single Precisoin 46mm wastegate with this setup to keep the cost down. It will also be easier to recirculate back to the down pipe for those not wanting all the noise.

I am also getting a 370z as a donor car for all of April, and plan on having something like this ready for that platform in a couple of months.

I'd like to act surprised but to be quite honest I expect nothing less than amazing at this point.

Nice work Sasha... bringing F/I to a whole new generation of enthusiasts .

The fact the Hal approves of your work speaks volumes IMO, they don't put junk on their builds.

Thanks guys, looks like the prototype is already spoken for

As for comparing this to the original BP kit...remember the original can house the monster 76mm billet turbo, this one can not.

Downpipe should be completed tonight, so I just need to get my hands on a 46mm PTE wastegate.
