Default 03 Vortech z33 Build/ish

So wanted to share with everyone what I've been doing with my z, so here it goes...

I started with a 2004 Base z, was a ton of fun but just wasn't enough power. Ended up getting rid of it for a 2003 Touring with a V2 on it. Reason i got one with it on it already was didn't really have the money at the time to put on on my 04 and she was getting a bit "tired". So yeah most would say i shouldn't have gotten it but oh well i love the thing even with its problems. It not a daily by any means. Have a duramax and a wrx for that. That being said the kid i got it from didn't know much about cars... but i looked it over quite well. From what i know this is what it has...

Vortech V2 with 3.12 pulley
Stage 4 6 puck clutch
Lightened Flywheel
Topspeed pro n1 test pipes
HKS cat back
550cc Rc injectors
Fuel pump(not sure what)
Running a Utec
Stance Sc5 Wheels

So that what it came with. Here she is the way i got it... (threw in a pic of my old z)

Next thing was the tune. Currently running a Utec and no clue what the different tunes on it are, kept it on what i got it at. Just moved down to Greenville, SC and think I'm gonna try Pompeii Motorsports for an Uprev tune, they are about 5 Min from me.
Going to change out plugs, belts, pulleys and valve covers before the tune. Running very rich down here..kinda like my duramax...

Any Input on Pompeii Motorsports in Greenville sc would be cool! Spoke with the tuner and he seemed very knowledgable and has done a few z's

Things I've done so far..
Ditched the Stance wheels and put rota g forces on for the mean time..

Nice car. Not a fan of stretching tires as extreme as you did yours but to each is own. Coilovers will make it look much better with a decent drop in ride height. How much power are you putting down? Psi? Plans for more power?

Well most of those pics are showing the rears with 255s. The one pic from the front with the filter on it has 285s on them. Still a stretch but not nearly as much.
Not sure what its currently putting down, will know after i get it re-tuned.

Small up-date.

TimRod Radius Rod Kit installed, thanks tim!
New Airfilter running into front bumper
Still have to install boost gauge.

Idle has been a bit funny since putting a new belt on and going to the "revised" layout. Im thinking its the utec, and the idle being too low, seems to be around 700. but when rpms come down it drops really low then comes back up.

Tune June 18th!

So update, and probably the end for a while. Was coming back from picking up a wideband, and got on it a bit nothing crazy. Some smoke starting coming out from the hood, happened about 1/2 mile from my house. Lost about 2.5 quarts of oil. Jacked it up and couldn't find the leak at idle, only seems to leak a lot when driving and after its been driving.

So anyway i decided to do a compression test on it... Car wasn't quite fully warm. Had throttle body open , and other spark plugs in.
5. 135 6. 130
3. 130 4. 60
1. 165 2. 75

So seems like i have quite a serious problem. Also cylinder 4 is now misfiring, didn't when all this happened but has now a day later.

Also seems like when i lost all the oil a lot came out the drivers side breather.
