Drove all day, mostly on the highway but had to go into a town with some shitty roads... Everything seemed fine until I parked at my brothers house and went in for 20 mins or so to see the kids. I come out and start it up and I was like wtf... sounded like someone had unbolted my passenger side cat. I have a brand new nismo cat back from an accident so its a month old maybe, my berks hfc's were purchased a while ago from a member months ago. Starting the car sounds like crap, like half open header heh. When I let off the gas you hear a weird noise coming from under the engine and it sounds odd idling. Gonna take it by the place that put them on but friend brought up that nismo y pipe likes to crack cats... if so looks like im ****ed because im in between jobs atm, I cant stick the stock cats on now...ugh

 

Hey, you never know....it could be just a bolt that broke off or is loose making that noise.

 

The cat cracked... and got worse so now its totally severed where the cat is welded to the pipe up in near the engine. It sounds horrible... I get people starring at my car like wtf is that noise lol, you can hear the pieces hit each other sometimes its awful. I called up berk and they said Id have to contact the original buyer and have him call berk but I doubt anyones gonna wanna deal with that bs. I found the warranty certificate but its blank. I might have to try to have it welded back, I'm in between jobs so even so thats not gonna be doable right now ****.

The driver side cat on the HR is a nightmare. I had a shop break multiple tools trying to get one bolt. 6 hours later they connected it all back and said sorry we tried. Had another shop do it... I was gonna pull off the pass side cat myself but i doubt ill be able to get the bolts up top. Plus everyones ramps are too high. Idk...
