Default Top Speed Resonated Test Pipe bung length for wideband?

Hey guys, probably a stupid question - on the top speed resonated testpipes, they seem to have an abnormally long shaft for the o2 sensor bungs (I assume to help with the stock o2 sensors). If I use one of these for a wide band, could that make my readings less accurate?

And if so, and I put a new bug on, should I care about the fact that it would be "down wind" from the stock sensor, which may cause more turbulence and affect the reading?

I know just enough about this stuff to ask questions that are this dumb.
