Default Stock exhaust question

Hey...i dont know about everyone else....but I really like the stock exhaust sound and tone...but I just wish it were a bit louder.

What are some ways that I could just increase the volume of the exhaust while still keeping the stock tone....or am I just being retarded?

Test pipes? HFC's? ...

Thanks for the help guys! this site has given me a lot of good advice!

oh yah...i searched and found that you could remove the muffler...but id rather not do this.

Move more air through the exhaust.

You want it louder but want to keep your stock exhaust? Remove the resonator in the mid-pipe . . .

Nismo cat-back or I have the APS 2.5" test pipes and love the note. Everyone that hears my car always tells me how they love the sound of my exhaust.

Get an intake. Maybe a popcharger. Don't belive me? if you want to hear what it sounds like remove your air filter and go for a quick drive and get on WOT for a bit to hear it. I think thats the easiest, cheapest route.

Everything else that everyone has mentioned will do it too.

If you are on a limited budget, get resonated test pipes and a aftermarket y-pipe with your stock exhaust.

If you are not on a budget, any of the aftermarket exhaust systems with one resonator and one single muffler will have the same tone.

I still say APS test pipes. Awesome quality and half the price of resonated ones. I also disagree with just a y-pipe. I garentee down the road you'll end up getting a cat-back exhaust and than you wasted money on a y-pipe.
