lions, tigers, and flying Tires oh MY!
So i was driving on a bridge when thr truck in front of me ran over a piece of blown tire about 3 feet long which catipulted up in the air str8 for my hood. Luckily i swerved just enough to not side swipe the car next to me. this is the end result. Deductable is @ $2000 and replacement is $200. i was thinking JB weld duct tape overnight. Didnt work because not enough contact between plastics. Any good ideas other than telling me to replace the whole thing?
if i get it on there permanent again i wouldn't care about losing the sway/tuck in ability of the side views.

Sorry man, that sucks. That said, replace it. Any repair job you do might break free at high speeds, then your loose mirror would bang against the door paint and window... not worth it.

Fix the mother****er cheap ***. You're car is not a ghetto POS. Don't start now. A quick search yielded these for $213 shipped and I'm sure if you look you can find them cheaper.

well it will look EXACTLY the same even if i drilled a screw into it with JB weld. This woulndnt be a cosmetic issue IF that were to be done. just asking if anyone has had the same problem and if there were some sort of plastic bonding adhesive that worked out well. If it looks the same and i dont use the swivel aspect of it then to you its ghetto to me its i got $250 more in my pocket. If it flies off while driving then sure ill replace it and know that there isnt a compound strong enough to hold. but i think there is.
