SYTFU 4 YEAR BBQ!, MARCH 21st 2009 @ Alameda Naval Base
from G35Driver.com:
http://g35driver.com/forums/northern...aval-base.html
Who - Everybody! Come one, Come all!
What - SYTFU 4th Annual BBQ meet charity event with donations to the Children's Hospital
Where - The Alameda Naval Base (near the USS Hornet)
Address: 707 W Hornet Ave Alameda, CA 94501
When - Saturday, March 21, 2009, 1:00PM - End of the day
Why - Meet, Cars, Photo Shoot, People, FREE FOOD!
Yup, you heard that right, we are doing it again this year. Last year's events was successful thanks to the 250+ cars, 60+ motorcycles, stunters, and the gigantic crowd from all different forums who showed up to support our event. This year we're looking to make this one bigger and even better than last time; better yet, we are doing this years event with a great cause! We are accepting donations for the Children's Hospital - donations are not required but would be gladly accepted and forwarded on your behalf.. We can't do it without your support! Tell all your friends, crews, brother, sister, mom, dad, grannys, etc! If it gets rained out, we will move the event to the next available sunny weekend. Don't worry, we'll let you guys know ahead of time... we're watching different weather forecasts.
This is a SANCTIONED event by the Alameda Naval Base and the City of Alameda, so as usual, no drama, fighting, burnouts, unnecessary rev'ing, racing, etc... Anyone breaking any rules and causing our event to be at risk of termination will be asked to leave. There will be officers patrolling the area, so we ask you to please be on your best behavior for everybody's enjoyment!
100% of PROFITS ARE DONATED TO THE OAKLAND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL!
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!
Updates: We also attained a 200 thousand square foot hangar with 50ft high ceilings which would fit approximately 300+ cars inside the hangar and 300+ cars outside... Rain or shine, it is going down!
Due to an outrageous number of responses for hangar space, the only fair way to do this is if you have a group of 10 or more people who would like to reserve hangar space, there will be a $5 donation minimum per car for the section. We (sytfu) can reserve you all a section so that you all can park together. But don't worry! If not, we have plenty of out door space right in front of the huge hangar doors (that will be open all day) for no charge.
Update: To reserve a spot inside the hanger, we need one person that will represent the 350Z community to fill out a registration form. There will be a mandatory donation of $5 minimum per car, more donations will be greatly appreciated.
At the day of the event, the one person representing the Z community will collect all the donations from all the members and hand it off to one of the sytfu coordinators.
The deadline to reserve a spot inside the hangar is March 11th. I will need an official list of all the members that will be parking with you guys by then. Whoever you guys pick to represent the 350Z community, please visit our website www.sytfu.com to fill out the registration form.

Thanks, I'll do that. This really will be a nice run for us and fun once we get there. I'm on the G35Driver forum also, so I'll check it out. See you there.

So maybe we can plan something from Salinas/Monterey to San Jose meet there and head up with that group. Will start a thread for here to get things moving. I checked it, leaving here at 10:00 am puts us there at 12:11, which gives a little extra time for anything unexpected and stops along the way to meet others to caravan with. (I looked at using Hwy 101 and I-880)

Actually, considering the great videos and amazing pictures you took at the 370Z preview event back in November, I owe you at least a ride in it.
I have some of your pictures on my wall in my office at work: https://my350z.com/forum/northern-ca...ml#post6614915.
