Passing smog with a supercharger?
Noob here hoping to pick a few brains. I'm considering jumping ship from my money pit into a Z.(likely DE) and i'm wonder how well these cars pass smog with one of the CARB legal superchargers??

the best way to fail a emssions test is to take the test without the OEM cats on the car.
which kit are you looking at? going FI on a Z is a money pit, going FI on any car is a money pit...

the procharger kit is very similar to the vortech. I ran it for 25k miles with minimal issues. They have a bad reputation for popping engines but there are many factors and two sides to every story.
You'll spend a good chunk of change FI'ing a 350z -
350whp = $5k
400whp = $10k
500whp = $18k
600whp = $25k
1000whp = $50k
