But with that tranny, he should only need ~700hp to chop high 9s passed, if it can hook with 1.3-1.4s 60'. transbrake TH400 on the strip FTW!
The 4.2L isn't going to make any more peak power than a 3.5L, the real difference will be in the mid-range. This thing spool so fast!!

well that assumes you didnt match the heads/cams to the new flow or adjust the turbine A/R either to compensate for increased flow......

We have also integrated the e-throttle control with the ProEFI. I'll have some videos shortly of the car on the dyno. It makes excellent power and spools unbelievably fast. The converter is also perfect for the drag strip which will be very obvious once I post up dyno charts. Much more to come!

So what happened? What were the dyno results?

I forget from our past discussions... What is the stall set at on that torque converter and what gear does he have in the rear end? Don't Supras typically run a 3.7 gear in the rear end with that trans?
^ Also BUMP for an answer to my prior post.

The car makes approximately 1300HP to the crank with the TH400 trans!!

Final Number: 951whp @ 30psi

There is a lot of room left in this setup. The turbos won't lose their efficiency until well into the high 30psi realm if not higher. This will be an excellent start to get Vlad deep into the single digits.

VERY NICE! Congrats!

Still curious about what you guys have the stall set at and what gear you're running in the back.

I'm not sure on the suspension, maybe Larry can chime in on that. I'll call Jason first thing tomorrow for you for the iBoost setup!

This sedan picked up where the SP 350z left off. Will it run the same time or better? I see the custom diff brace with support on both sides. Very nice.

The 350z had a 6spd trans...this has a Turbo400 auto.....all things being equal, this should be quicker....

should be ALOT faster. look at the TH400 cars VTR runs. their traps are pretty slow but their ET's are almost a second faster than similarly powered manuals
