So when are you actually going to run some real boost?

Id love to turn it up!! Unfortunately all the pulls at over 30 psi just resulted in a huge amount of tire smoke. We even tried to VHT the dyno rollers!! It helps quite a bit. We cannot put any weight in the trunk to aid traction because then the tires rub badly. The damn G35 sedan wheel wells are just too small!!

It is basically no muffler really. The cutout is located directly before the stock muffler so it is still going through the Y-pipe and all through the rear.

Yeah it was sort of a double edged sword scenario. If we turned the boost up higher than 25psi, the tires would spin. Then if we put someone in the trunk, the tires would rub! Something will have to be done here, most likely some major fender rolling.

Small update. Yesterday at the RPM car show in chicago, this car won the dyno competition!! They used GRD's Dynapack dyno which only reads up to 800 RWHP but at reportedly only 17 psi this G35 pegged the dyno!!! A few other cars that we built also pegged the dyno but they gave top honors to this G35 probably because it did it at the lowest boost level! Congrats Vlad!!

guess there were no FI 6.0L V8's?

800whp at 17psi on a DD when you only made 640whp at 17psi......

I wanna get dyno'd at GRD for sure then!

Yeah, those numbers do seem high to me too but I can say that the G35 has SERIOUS traction issues on our dyno. Maybe with the DD dyno that actually attaches to the axles it gave a true reading??

Sorry, I was misinformed. He pegged the dyno at 25 psi. Not sure what he made at 17 psi.
