At first I thought this was being built for track only. I knew someone that built a stroker motor with small twin GT35r turbos...the d@mn thing would loose traction at 70 or 80 mph on the freeway when he got on it
Two questions...is traction control on the list and if the customer is only looking for 700whp for the street, why sleeves? I see you mentioned cooling is a concern. Tons of members on here with sleeve experience good and bad.

ha no this guy wants all the comforts of a daily! adding cruise and the blue tooth steering wheel for his head unit ha! but i dont think traction control was on the list...
and as for the stroker/sleeve/700rwhp subject... our customer just LOVES stroker motors and being able to say he has the only/first one! we also built the same guy a 2.4L SR! (we were also the first to do that!) were not sure if its just to be "bigger" or for the low end... but he loves em and we love building them!
and he isnt really crazy about making the biggest numbers or what not, just a reliable 700hp to play with...
either way... its gnarly!

BTW... High impedance injectors or low impedance? Just incase the owner may want traction control...( they have plug and play versions now) they seem to hate low impedance...

not a problem man!
and yes....we as well have a history, not on the forums, but on the streets and track...
for example, we used the same block/sleeve design on another build and the customer runs 8 second passes all day.
and we have a way to make sure we get proper cooling...

Thanks for all the details on your design choices. When we were looking at the gtx turbos there were no options on compressor inlet sizes. We talked to JWT last spring and they had nothing in production at the time. Where do you anticipate setting the rpm limit? (stock 6700?)

Definitely in for this. Looks like an insane build. What else does he have planed? Suspension, exterior, interior, brakes, etc.
Good luck with everything.
Have vids of said car? Wouldn't mind checking them out.

There not the gtx series, there just garrett 2 gt3076, not from JWT... And really, we will be doing alot of modifications to the jwt kit to better suit the build, but it is a great base! As for rev limit it has not been a big discussion, of course with such a large stroke its not going to be much past the factory rev if at all...
We havent had the car at the shop yet to start on any other parts of the build, hes still d.d.'ing the bone stock z! But he is not looking to build a full out race car, just a really bad a** daily! But i believe were doing a 1.5 way dif, coilovers, suspension arms, a proper size wheel tire combo, and perhaps a set of seats, ya know just the basics!
Sweet and simple!

More info on said car? Also, any clarification regarding your cooling system. Esp. with no water passages in the sleeves.
Sounds exciting, either way

...im sorry which car were you talking about again?8 sec?
and for the same exact sleeves and machine work/installation it will cost you a little $2000.00. It's quite a bit of machine time that goes into placing that sleeve in the block.
email or call us if you want more details

Are you going to close then tap the heads for their coolant source? It seems like the water passages would be cutting it close to the cylinder wall. Whats the tolerance between the cylinders?
