Default Shop to install headers,Orlando

I'v been calling a few places i'm seeing good reviews on from google and I keep getting quoted around 600 up to 800 even or I don't even get a reply back.

Anyone have experience with a shop near orlando that will install headers at a reasonable price?

Well, the best price I have been able to find is $450 in the deltona area w/o the need of extra work(drilling holes/issues fitting).

Matt,
You can do this yourself if you got the correct set!

I keep thinking about doing it myself however I doubt myself with this car after trying to install test pipes. I had 2 more bolts to remove and I just could not get them off no matter what.

Use a whole can of Liquid Wrench, let it sit overnight.

Depending on work, I was thinking of spraying the bolts and having a go to remove the heat shields this sat, to lower the price some . Hope to have them installed this monday.

Well an update. ~~~I ended up paying about 650 out the door. The labor went up 1 hour and I lost the gaskets(idk how..) so those were about $100 from nissan. Got them installed at "Stephens Motorworks" in deltona. Great guy and amazing service. Dropped the z off at 5pm on tues and it was ready on thursday at 10am.

Time to get retuned soon

Glad to see it worked out. Was going to suggest Rev Works in Winter Springs. They are also an Osiris tuner.

Personal experience with Fever Racing? Not sure that I have ever heard of them. Rev Works, I will be getting my car retuned there and our built EJ25 STi will be tuned there as well. Very nice and clean shop. There is also M-Tuned that is in Sanford. Guy works out of the PRS shop. I have driven by there since they are only about 5 miles from me and never really got a good impression of the place.

I had a good experience with PRS (performance race solutions) in Sanford. They did some good work for me on my HR, my buddy is just so happening to get his Z tuned there tomorrow, by mike or "M-tuned" I believe. I plan to let them tune mine in another few months.

Yeah I had heard that the M-Tuned guy was a good tuner and may actually be the tuner for Osiris at Rev Works.

Glad to have someone chime in from experience though.

@DmanG281 I should of been more specific by saying Rev works, my bad lol. Guess i'll be giving them a call next week. So glad I don't have to drive 4 hours now!

When I was calling around for install quotes, I BELIEVE i called PRS and was quoted 800+ but I can easily be confusing them with the other 20 shops.

Glad you found a good shop for the install.

I've done test pipes on 2 Z's and 1 G. It's a huge PITA, I eventually knocked the studs out on my own Z so it would always be easier to replace when it came time. I can only imagine how bad doing headers would be.

I'll be calling revworks or PRS to scheduled an apt for tuning after the BS today. I called 'Fever Racing' last week to come in today and when i get there hes confused as to why I am there. For whatever reason he thought i meant next-next monday? So that was a fun 4 hr trip for nothing. I can see why there are so many recent bad reviews but I figured I would give them a chance still. Lesson learned, i'll pay the extra $150 lol.

Yes! I just did today. I called PRS yesterday and they were able to squeeze me in to today, however the tuner did not show up today . I'll be going tomorrow after work to get tuned. I don't mind seeing as how I live 10 mins away from the shop and was offered a discount for the inconvenience. So far I am having a much better experience than the other shop from the feel of the shop to the way I am treated.

Can't wait to stop hitting high 10's(AFR) while cruising .

Just got back. Great bunch of guys at PRS and all my stupid questions were answered and I learned a lot. I did get worried when I saw gobs of grey smoke at high rpm but that was due to how rich I was. No before and after sadly but I have the sheet. HP-253 TQ-231, tuned by mike. He told me my car is putting down great power with a very safe tune and that must full bolt on tuned g/z's make 240 on their dyno. He also said that 253 is about 285 on the normal dynojet. Car feels amazing again!

Cool deal. I may end up getting a tune by Mike after the car gets put back together. Like you, I only live about 10 minutes from their shop. Hard to beat the convenience.
