^^
If I were to get aftermarket rims, it would only be the Work Emotion CR KAI. No other. I think the one's above are Rota Torque. Aren't they exactly the same?

You might be thinking the ones on the blue Z are Rota Torque wheels because I have them listed in my signature below quoting his post. Anyhow the wheels he has I believe are the work rims, I however couldn't afford those so I got the Rota version... I would assume the work wheels are lighter and stronger since they are supposedly higher quality wheels in general.

I don't think he has the Work rims. If he did, they would have Work written around the hub like this:

Again I'm not sure so I could be wrong. Regardless of which company they are, they look clean.

blomys14 does in fact have the work cr kai. You don't have to put the stickers on the wheels. Either that or he took them off. I believe he does have one of the stickers but not all. He is also dropped on stance coilovers. I don't know exactly how far. He's a good friend of mine. He would never roll Rotas on his car.

Thanks for the info, I thought I remembered seeing somewhere that they were infact work wheels, and I know there are a lot of people who would never get the replica rotas but I loved the wheel and I couldnt afford to wait and get the originals due to the horrible wheels and tires that came with the Z when I got it.

The price was right and I have never had any functional issues/problems with Rota wheels previously. Obviously they are not the same quality as work wheels and believe me its not like I would choose the Rota's over work wheels if the opportunity was there... don't bag on me too hard I still love my wheels!

Why would you say that the work quality is not the same? Did you notice something that was different from the Work wheels?

I'm wondering if anybody knows of an actual difference, if any, between the wheels.

I am just thinking manufacturing processes such as forging (not sure if the work wheels are forged or not though) and the rim material used could make a significant difference in the overall quality and integrity of the wheel. It would seem that work wheels are produced in less quantities (I'm also just assuming) since they are more expensive and they might also have tighter machining tolerances and quality control. These factors could possibly be attributed to the higher market retail price...? Anyhow I could be totally wrong just thought I would throw it out there...I would be interested to know the exact differences in the two sets of wheels also.

You're welcome. I won't bag on you too hard. Rotas are a good replica but I just don't want to roll replicas. + I'm running 10.5 all around. My wheels aren't expensive either. Same as the Work cr kai.

Thanks bro haha, I checked out your sig web link ... pretty dope site you got going on. Which Z is yours the pikes peak or the red? All really clean and differently tuned Z's. I'll get there one day until then I'm stoked on being a Z owner period especially the color brickyard...

I'm thinking about putting 5mm or 10mm spacer in the rear.
