Default 18 Chrome oem wheels?

I have this set of 18 sport wheels that i got in a trade and their chrome. Was this offered by infiniti or did the previous owner have these chromed? I havent seen any so im assuming he had them done. Any info on this? Thanks

With respect what does this have to do with the 370Z?

Be careful with these. When I bought my '08 350Z the dealership had chrome plated the wheels and this happened. Nissan does not endorse this and will not defend any dealership that does as it weakens the wheel.

This is the 350z section btw, and many of the members on this forum have g35s. Im asking here because i know someone will have the answer.

Thats wheel breaking is pretty crazy, any info on that happening to g35 wheels or is that just the 350z problem?

It's a chromed wheel problem, doesn't matter what car. Read the thread I linked above. Aftermarket chroming is not good for the OEM wheels, it weakens them.

BTW - your post was originally in the 370Z/Wheels section but it was moved here to the 350Z/Wheels section.

Wow. Did that happen to you while you were driving... or while the car was parked? I would think while driving... but just wondering. If while driving, how much damage did it cause and what did it sound like?
