I want to sell this 2008 Base Model Z wrecked to someone who wants the engine with harness for a conversion. The engine and trans have 9500 highway miles and 12 months of racing ~25 hours of track time. The engine runs and has good compression. The Chassis is garbage unless you want a few parts on the right side that aren't terrible, but there's a lot of goodies left. I can deliver the car for a nominal fee. Maybe $0.40/mile?

Why was the plenum cracked? Was nitrous or force induction used on this car?

 

That's a good question. It's hard to see from the picture, but the impact at the front corner pulled the strut tower brace into the throttle bodyand cracked the inlet to the intake. The plenum isn't cracked structurally, just the inlet area is cracked.

Nitrous was not used. This motor is completely stock and has never been opened.

Hi all,
I just lowered the price, and added a price for motor/trans only
It now has an intake and turns over with good compression, but I haven't gotten the pump working yet. It shouldn't be long now.
Also I won't part out the car until the motor is sold.

 

Updated the post. It runs and still makes good compression!!
