Default long drive in the z = PITA

"Pain in the a$$"

So until recently I hadn't driven 2+ hours at a time in the Z, but I've done it twice this month and both times my butt and lower back started to ache in the last half hour or so.... and im only 22!

Anyone else have this happen?

BTW- i have a touring with the leather seats

Anyone have COMFORTABLE aftermarket seats in? I have sparco torinos I plan to put in soon.

as far as sports cars go, i think the Z's seats are pretty comfortable. longest ride ive taken was 4hrs a few times and they never really bothered me. I'm 5'11 160 FWIW

I used to make 13 hr trips in the Z from FL to NC, I am 6ft, and it could get tough on my legs. I never complained though its a sports car not a mini van.

Driven some fairly long out of town distances in my Touring Zed having just clocked 50kms. Perhaps your seat needs adjusting to suit you a little better or possibly adjust your steering wheel.

I guess it never occured to me that sports car seats would tend to be less comfortable than other cars...

Ive always preferred the tighter more bolstered seats of sporty cars.

I had to make a 4 hour trip to pick my car up in a 06 civic I then made the 4 hour drive back in the Z after about an hour of leg time. Didn’t phase me at all and I'm 23. Maybe height or weight is a factor here or maybe bad genetics lol

I drove 8+ in my ZR Touring and had no issues! I have to say, my Maxima is much softer though but then again, I have a 2 seater sports car, it is going to be uncomfortable!

I don't see what's so racist about that. You certainly don't look like George Washington.

But really, to the OP - stop slouching, the seats on the Z aren't that bad.

I drove 14 hrs straight in mine, and was fine. I, as well, like sports car seats. I get uncomfortable in cushy seating and luxo cars.

I've driven the Z 14hrs and routinely take 4+ hr roundtrips with no issues..............and I'm 43

I would have to say that either your seat isn't adjusted properly or your posture is more likely the cause
