I have heard of guys getting their modifications done for nearly free from the product companies for the purpose of showing. Anyone know if this is possible?

 

It's true...I think alot of the people that get these sponsorships start off by modding their cars and going to shows where the sponsors see their cars and say "Hey, I'd like my name all over that!!".

 

That makes sense...would be nice to get $ help from the start though... i guess everybody would swamp the market then. Hey, do you know of any meets tonight in the Ft. Myers area?

 

It would be cool if you could pick what you want done to your car, but if you get sponsored, they pretty much get to pick what they want to put on it...even down to the millions of lame stickers they'll throw on it.

Also some sponsorships make you travel to a certain number of shows a year and bs like that.
