Show car on Ebay. Worth it?

My only question is: Why would someone bid 30k if that is where the Buy it Now option was? Wouldn't they have just used Buy it Now for a garunteed win? Looks kinda fishy to me. Maybe the guy realized he could get much more cash out of it and had a buddy go bid it up...

I saw this car at many events D1 GP, LA International Auto Salon, SEMA.... and even though it was a tad beyond my style the work done on it is immaculate. The paint job is beautiful in person.
It was sitting in the actual NISSAN display booth at IAS. It seems like a big time corporate owned show car instead of a private owner. It's also appeared in Racing Hart brochures and the like.
Seems pretty legit to me.
Company needs to sell a car, it's built with sponsored products, it was trailored around the country for shows, it'll probably cost them more to dismantle the whole thing so they let it go as is for a descent price. Heavily sponsored promotional product.
That's my take.

I've spent the last three days e-mailing them with questions out the wazoo and talked to the rep on the phone today with a bunch more. Car and deal seems solid. Crossing fingers...

I talked with them yesterday and will call again in a bit. The car is owned by Toucan industries and they have lots of experience with moving around high profile show cars. I'll likely use their shipper. I probably won't go over there. Myabe if I had gotten it for less, but now I'll need all my cash. I've got lots of family nearby; I'll probably send them down this weekend to check it out for me and make sure everything's kosher.
Right now, I need to move my FX fast. Anybody looking?
